Can try to ask an indecent question? :-)

Once very long time ago under Win2000/IIS5 I need rewriter.
I find and put on server ISAPI_Rewriter (Lite ver.). And 4 years it is remarkable works and does not buzz :-)
Taking an opportunity I wish to tell many THANKS to developers for so good, and the main thing a stable product. For that only with that server did not occur, but this Helicon ISAPI-filter has never delivered any problems (from a series "has adjusted and has forgotten").

But now there is a task for removal on a new server (Win2003) and upgrade main web-application from ASP to ASP.Net 2.0. And again I have a problem of a choice of Rewrite.

My question. What advantages have ISAPI_Rewrite in comparison with free products (example Open Source URL Rewriter fot .Net)? If it is possible, give please the reference to the table of comparisons or something similar.

I am sorry for my English:-)

We don't make comparision tables with competitiors, because it is indecent :-)
But I can provide you with few ISAPI_Rewrite adwantages, if we are talking about version 3:
1. Apache mod_rewrite compatible syntax.
2. Features like proxy, file existance check.
3. Many useful minor features.
4. No ASP.NET engine involved, thus it can rewrite any type of files and dir/default document requests just as any other requests, while ASP.NET may fail to serve it.
5. REAL support.
