I've "Redirect to old style requests" activated and the "-" character as Substitution character:
the problem is that if I include the "-" character as parameter value in a GET Url, linkfreeze does not treat it as a parameter value, so I have problem with the application,
for example: will be

but now the parameter value "-" is removed, so it's null

How can I solve this problem ?
Shall I to change substitution character with ~ instead of - ?
or can I use regular expression with isapi_rewrite to url encode the "-" inside parameter value ?
if so which is the expression to use ?

Another question:
is it important "Redirect to old style requests" for search engine optimization ?

1. You must change the substitution character from - to for example ~ (or some other) to solve the problem. ISAPI_Rewrite won't help here.

2. If you are using your site for a long time and it was indexed by Google, you should apply "Redirect to old style requests" for Google to re-index you site correctly.
