I set up HTTP headers on particular directories to not freeze links in those directories.

I noticed the the HTP headers option only works for not translating links in the page from those directories, but it still freezes an inbound URL. For exmaple, even if I added the HTTP header to /admin and I went to:

it will redirect you to: (though the links in this page will not be frozen).

I don't want this. I want such a link to not be frozen.

Is this by design? Is my only recourse via a directory pattern filter in the linkfreeze config? If so, how would I write this rule? I already have a rule like this:

Would I create a new rule? Modify this one? How?

This is by design, because on a stage when redirect is done you don't have yet a HTTP header to check. So you cannot disable LinkFreeze request translation by response HTTP headers. I can only suggest you to turn off "Redirect old URLs" feature for these directories.
