Any chance of having a "White List" for content? For example a list of images under a protected folder but always served without being blocked?

I have a newsletter and use some images from /images. They are blocked on my html email but I don't want to have to copy these image to another folder. Having an "exception" list would be nice in this case.

Cheers

You can set exceptions if using regular expressions directory patterns. For example set this pattern instead of simple "/images":

@/images(?!/exceptionfolder).*

Thanks... Can this be used for individual file names?

I mean, folders and filenames in the same regex, for example

/images/tabs allowed

/images/logo.jpg allowed

/images/blocked.jpg allowed

/images disallowed

Cheers

Theoretically it is possible:
@/images/(?!tabs|logo.jpg|blocked.jpg).*
but I would not suggest you to use this technique for a large number of images.
Also please note that HotlinkBlocker can be used in conjunction with ISAPI_Rewrite to build complex custom configurations.
