Checking through my IIS log files, I can see that null referrers are being rejected.

I need to allow null referrers for the odd time when a referrer doesn't get sent by the browser.

When I checked the ini config file the referrers I have specified including "?" are displayed under the black list and not the white list!

Could this be the problem?

In my installation the ini-file also had the contents in white-list under the blacklist-header!! I changed it in the ini-file, and now it works the way it's supposed to! There is definitely a bug in the program!

I have also noticed the problem with the null-referer. In one of the templates on my site I have a javascript popup displaying a full size image when someone clicks on a thumbnail. When calling it with javascript, the referer is always null. I had to rewrite so that the img is displayed on a html-page rather than being displayed directly.

I would love to be able to allow null-referers in the whitelist! In most cases the hotlinking you want to block is on other webpages where referers almost always exists, so it wouldn't create problems to allow null-referers.

The bug is fixed in latest build.
