I can't get it to work...

I've installed the trial version of hotlinkblocker on IIS6 on a windows 2003 server.

I have set it up with directories: /images

Protection type REFERER

Nothing in Blocked uri

Then I've put the referer in the whitelist under "Referers", and I'm trying to hotlink a file in the image-folder on a different host. With HLB enabled it just doesn't show the image no matter what I put in there.

Stopping the display of the file is fine, but my problem is that I want to be able to allow hotlinking on www.mysite.com when someone accesses the subhost sub.mysite.com. For some reasons I have to have absolute URLs to some of the images on the site, but when the urls contain www.mysite.com they don't get displayed on the site of sub.mysite.com.

What am I doing wrong here?

I've found that the ini-file is updated incorrectly when updating from IIS and that was the source of my problems.  Until it's fixed, the ini-files must be updated manually!
