I installed ISAPI Rewrite 3.0 X64 on IIS 6 and it appears
to have installed "correctly" because I see green arrows.
But, when I go to use it in WordPress it doesn't seem to
be working. I

I've activated ISAPI but nothing is happening and
honestly I haven't found any real good documentation on
installation or anything related to trouble shooting. I'm
not getting any error messages yet.

Is anyone using WordPress 3.3.1 by chance and/or
experienced
the same thing? Am I missing something here?

I see that it says something about the .htaccess file but
I thought that was the whole problem on IIS 6is that it
doesn't use .htaccess.

In WordPress if I click on the plug-in and there are 3
files on the right, I click on the .htaccess and it says
inactive. I would suppose that is due to the fact I'm
using IIS?

One more thing, I'm using PLESK so I don't know if that
is any issue or not.

I've installed ISAPI rewrite but I haven't gotten any
farther with it changing my ugly URL's to Pretty URL's. I
didn't know if there is anything that I need to do!

Any help you can give me to get this working would be
GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,

Brian

Hello Brian,

I saw you've already checked FAQ and Wordpress Article.
Due to PLESK, please, see the following regarding permissions.

You definitely need to use your .htaccess. All you need to do - fix permissions and follow WP article from our site.
In case that won't work, please, provide error.log and rewrite.log for the testing request.

Regards
Andrew
