I have a fairly long rewrite I need to execute. It appears
to identify and execute fine but the 10th variable is
posting Variable 1 with a zero after it. Similar issue with
variables $11, $12, $13... Is there a special way to pass
variable number greater than 9?

RewriteRule ^/([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-
([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-([A-Z][^A-Z]*)-([A-Z][^A-Z]*)
([-][v][\d]*)\.htm([\?]*)([^\.]*)$ /search.cfm\?
S1=$1&S2=$2&S3=$3&S4=$4&S5=$5&S6=$6&S7=$7&V=$8&$10 [L]

"Is there a special way to pass variable number greater than 9? "
- yes, it should be written with double $: $$10, $$11, $$12, $$13
