I want to redirect from "/node/6#wellness" to "/nutrition-wellness".

I created the following rule.
RewriteRule ^(node\/6)(.*)(/)?$ nutrition-wellness? [L,NC,R=301]

Next, I browsed to "/node/6#wellness".

I expected to land at "/nutrition-wellness" but, instead, was taken to "/nutrition-wellness#wellness".

Please, suggest a better rule that will result in me landing at "/nutrition-wellness" instead of "/nutrition-wellness#wellness".

Hello,

The '#' itself and everything after is usually processed by browser, not server.
Please, provide rewrite.log for testing request. Logging issues described in FAQ
