First post here.
I am using ReWrite 3.0 Lite and I would like to auto redirect to https from http.
I have added a file called "httpd.ini" to my websites root directory and the file contains this text:
# Defend your computer from some worm attacks
RewriteRule .*(?:global.asa|default\.ida|root\.exe|\.\.).* . [F,I,O]
# Block external access to the httpd.ini and httpd.parse.errors files
RewriteRule /httpd(?:\.ini|\.parse\.errors).* / [F,I,O]
# redirect all http requests to https
RewriteCond %HTTPS (?!on).*
RewriteCond Host: (.*)
RewriteRule (.*) https\://$1$2 [I,RP]
This does not work though. Am I missing something? is there a service running that picksup that "httpd.ini" is in my websites root directory and runs the commands automatically or do I need to do something else.
Thanks for your help.
