Hello, I would like to do a reverse proxy redirect from www.mysite.co.uk/blog to blog.name.com without changing the URL.

Mysite.co.uk is hosted (IIS 6.0) inside our domain.

Blog.name.com is hosted outside our domain.  However, I can't seem to get the reverse proxy working even when pointing it to another site in our domain.  I've tried this:

RewriteRule ^/blog(.*)$ http://www.blog.name.com/$1 [NC,P]

But it only works when I point it to the same site i.e. mysite/blog to mysite/somethingelse/

I've also tried RewriteProxy, but I can't get it to work at all

If someone could provide the syntax, so that at least it works when pointing to another site on our domain that would be great.  Or do I need to configure something else??  Thanks!

Can someone at least give me the syntax for a simple RewriteProxy rule for www.mysite.co.uk/blog to www.blog.name.com ?

Hello,

Your rule is absolutely fine.
Please, provide error.log and rewrite.log for the testing request.
Logging issues described in FAQ

Ok, I found this in the error Log:

"Flag

require Full version of ISAPI_Rewrite"

That explains it; I didn't know about that limitation in the LITE version.  (I have the Full version on another server)
