I've edited you log. Now it is seen that you've requested /img/visa.gig and we can't see anything from it ;(

I don't see visa.gig. Where did you see that? It says visa.gif. It's not the only one that I have problems with. Any directory that looks like this /blabla/bla.css or /blabla/bla.js or /blabla/bla.gif all being redirected using the rewrite rule. At the time being, I am forced to move all my images, css, and js files to /blabla/blabla1/bla.js, /blabla/blabla1/bla.css and /blabla/blabla1/bla.gif. Meaning I had to create another folder on my drive so that it does not think that I am trying to redirect.

when I want to see the image

http://www.thefacetscollection.com/img/visa.gif

it recirects me to

http://www.thefacetscollection.com/img/search.cfm

Sorry, that was a misprint. Of course .gif, not .gig.
In case it's images and script, than there's a simple solution we suggest to everyone. Simple make those links absolute or root-relative.

Also, please, erase the [OR] flag. This one is unnecessary in your case.

Andrew

but that's not a solution. When I want to access an image for example www.thefacetscollection.com/img/1234.jpg, it applies the rule and redirects me to search.cfm rather than displaying the image.

You probably were requesting the image directly. You need to change panth in code's page.
