Hi,

Looking to add a page numbering to my pages..  here is the original rule.

RewriteMap mapfile txt:mapfile1.txt
RewriteRule ^product-([^?/]+)\.html /showproduct.asp?product=${mapfile:$1}

We want to specify page numbers i.e.

product-frommapfile-page-1.html
product-frommapfile-page-2.html

-page-1  etc being the new addition  which should pass querystring page=1 to the system.

If there is no pagination string provided  i.e

product-frommapfile.html  no query strings are passed.

Any help would be appreciated..

thanks

Lee

Hello Lee,

I have another idea for this issue. Try using the following condition in addition to the rule:

RewriteCond ${mapfile:$1|NOT_FOUND} !NOT_FOUND

It does nothing, in case there was no sufficient entry found in the mapfile.

Regards
Andrew
