Hi, I've been trying to get ISAPI Rewrite 3 Lite working but I can't.

Previously I was using ISAPI Rewrite 3 Trial Version and worked perfectly. I don't know if I installed it wrong or something.

I've followed the steps given in the FAQ and I've got the green arrow and correctly pointed the site to the dll but...

What can I do?.

Thank you,
Antonio.

Hello, Antonio

Could you please show the rules you currently have and tell where you locate them.

Hi Anton,

I spoke with you yesterday for purchasing a license but we are still at testing and needed to get test server working first.

I've put the rules FAQ says in both configuration files:

.htaccess
httpd.conf

Rules:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /

RewriteRule .? - [F]

(only that)

But when I load the web it goes normally and I don't get the response it should.

Thank you,
Antonio.

Well, with Lite version it's only sensible to put the rules into httpd.conf file as .htaccess support is not available.
Please also try to enable logging in httpd.conf by putting

RewriteLogLevel 9
LogLevel debug

and provide excerpts from both logs after the test request here.

I've always used .htaccess because httpd.conf never worked in my server.

Are there any steps to follow to get it working??.

I've put those rules at httpd.conf but nothig seems to change. No log content is generated at all (which is normal if httpd.conf is ignored).

That's rather strange. Please check permissions for ISAPI_Rewrite installation folder, ISAPI_Rewrite dll, httpd.conf and log files.

Ok, my fault.

I had the "httpd.conf" file in my webpage directory and not at "Program Files/Helicon/ISAPI_Rewrite/..."

Thank you very much! :).
