I'm using ISAPI_Rewrite 3 and I need to rewrite a url
through a RewriteProxy rule to an external server. The
problem is that the requestis posting form-data.
After the url is rewritten, the POST-data is empty. Is
ISAPI_Rewrite in some way capable of maintaining the POST-
data when rewriting a url?

Hello,

Unfortunately there's no way to redirect POST requests, you'll have to use direct links for these pages.

Regards

Though there is no way to redirect a post.  You can have IRW treat a posted page differently by using request parameters and the rewritecond {%QUERY_STRING}... You will also have to possibly process differently on the update and ensure you are not doing any redirection on an update.

I basically look for a key QS parameter and if exists, I tell IRW NOT to process it.

Basically there are two sets of rules...
1. for posted pages
2. Non-post pages

After about 3 hours of analysis and a heavily processed site (4-500 submissions a day), and a lot of futzing, it worked and worked well.
