Dear support guys.

I am running Win 2003 Server / IIS6 with latest Ape installed. So far so good.

On same server there is a Kerio Connect Server installed. Now I would like to reverse proxy to Webmail site which is located under
http://localhost:90

This is my config in httpd.conf :

<Location /user>
proxypass http://192.168.200.8:90
proxypassReverse http://192.168.200.8:90
</Location>

I can reach login site of Webmail app which is then rewritten to

http://server.com/user/webmail/login (Kerio Webmail site redirects to /webmail/login)

But after login attempt the URL is rewritten to

http://server.com/webmail/dologin.php

which is not reachable and I get 404 error.

Could you please help to achive that this Webmail site could be reached under /user location? There is one default site on the IIS which should remain functional of course ;)

Thanks and kind regards

Thomas

Hello,
Please try the following code:

Code:
<Location /user/>
proxypass http://192.168.200.8:90/
proxypassReverse http://192.168.200.8:90/
</Location>

With Config you mention I have the following situation:

Typing in browser http://server.com/user (without trailing slash) does not load any site.

With trailing slash - http://server.com/user/ - the browser is redirected to

http://server.com/user/webmail/login

correctly. But after successful login the new url in browser is again

http://server.com/webmail/dologin.php

which could not be found of course.

Any other ideas please?

Hello.
I’m sorry for delay. Our team was on holidays.

As far as I understood the script does redirection. It’s not mod_proxy which redirects. Please check the script and make required changes so that after successful login it will redirect to /user location.

If you don’t have access to the script, please try and add the following code:
Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^/webmail(/.*)$ /user$1 [NC,R=301,L]

Happy holidays!

Hello.
It should be in the same file as the proxy rules. Did you check the script?

Sorry for the long delay! I had other things to figure out first... puuh.
It does not work unfortunatenly.

The browser does not "stay" in the /user folder, but is redirected to the old folder instead.
