I am currently evaluating Helicon Ape. We have a number of staging and design sites that we would like to protect using basic authentication in IIS7.

Is there a way to set up Helicon Ape so that all of the sites use the same .htaccess file?

Hello.
Why don’t you use httpd.conf? Code in there applies to every website (unless Ape isn’t set globally).
