Hi guys,

We had the rule beneath in Isapi_Rewrite working. Now we have the HTaccess api but don;t know how to set this.
The isapi rule redirects a domainalias to a map on the maindomain. And keeps the URl. Can you please help us.

[ISAPI_Rewrite]
RewriteCond Host: (?:www.)?domainalias.com
RewriteRule (/?Domainmap/?)(.*) /Domainmap/$2 [I,L]

Hello,
Please try the following rules:

Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} (?:www\.)?domainalias\.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(?!Domainmap)(.*)$ /Domainmap/$1 [NC,L]

Thank you for your answer but this does not work. The alias opens the maindomain site and does not go to the specified map.

Hello,
Could you please clarify the situation a little bit. Where is this /Domainmap/ located? Please also make sure Helicon Ape is working by the following rule:
Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule .? - [G]

You will get “410 Gone” if it works.
Thank you.

Sure.

We have a hosted domain.  (hosteddomain.com)

in the rootfolder of hosteddomain.com is a map /domainaliasmap/

We have a domainalias that needs to start in domainaliasmap

If i put the rules you have given.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule .? - [G]

Where can i see if this works?

You should put this in .htaccess file and perform any request to the website. You will see “Gone” response with code 410 if Ape works.
