I am trying to work out how to use ISAPI Rewrite to rewrite urls and redirect to other sites. One thing that is confusing me is whether the syntax you use for ISAPI Rewriting in your httpd.ini file is exactly the same as you would use on apache in your .htaccess file. Or are there slight differences?

Does anyone have any advice on learning how to write ISAPI syntax?

ISAPI_Rewrite 3 uses the same syntax as mod_Rewrite.
ISAPI_Rewrite 2 uses slightly different syntax.
